Day 1: Welcome to Uganda – Arrival in Entebbe

Begin your journey with a warm greeting at Entebbe International Airport. Relax and settle into Kampala, Uganda’s bustling capital. If time allows, explore cultural gems and local markets. Let your adventure begin with a spark of discovery.

Overnight: Cassia Lodge (Upgrade: Le Petit Village)

Day 2: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park

Hit the open road north toward the legendary Murchison Falls. Enjoy scenic views of lush landscapes and stop for lunch in Masindi before entering the park. Witness the awe-inspiring falls where the Nile crashes through a narrow gorge.

Overnight: Paraa Safari Lodge (Upgrade: Twiga Safari Lodge)

Day 3: Nile River Cruise & Wildlife Safari

Set out on a thrilling morning game drive to encounter elephants, giraffes, and lions in the savannah. In the afternoon, cruise the Nile to the base of the falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and stunning birdlife along the way.

Day 4: From Falls to Forest – Fort Portal

Travel south toward Fort Portal, a charming town near the mystical Rwenzori Mountains. The drive offers a true Ugandan experience — passing banana plantations, tea estates, and welcoming rural communities.

Overnight: Primate Lodge Kibale

Day 5: Into the Ituri Rainforest – Semliki National Park

Drive through emerald mountains to Semliki National Park. Discover bubbling hot springs, dense rainforest, and bird-rich swamps on a peaceful guided nature walk. A picnic lunch in the wild completes your day.

Overnight: Primate Lodge Kibale

Day 6: Chimpanzees & Wetlands

Track wild chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, home to one of the highest primate populations in Africa. Later, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary — a community-led conservation gem teeming with wildlife and color.

Day 7: To the Wild Heart – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Journey through the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains to Queen Elizabeth National Park. A game drive en route offers your first glimpses of Uganda’s iconic wildlife roaming freely.

Overnight: Simba Safari Camp (Upgrade: Elephant Plains Lodge)

Day 8: Safari & Cruise on the Kazinga Channel

Start the day in pursuit of lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, cruise the Kazinga Channel — an unforgettable water safari with close-up views of elephants, hippos, and countless birds.

Day 9: Into the Gorge – Kyambura & Bwindi Transfer

Optional morning trek into the breathtaking Kyambura Gorge to seek chimpanzees. Later, travel through rolling highlands to reach the misty forests of Bwindi — home of the endangered mountain gorilla.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking – A Soul-Stirring Encounter

Venture into the ancient rainforest for a face-to-face encounter with majestic mountain gorillas. It’s a humbling and emotional experience that will remain in your heart forever. Trek duration varies based on gorilla location.

Day 11: Cultural Immersion & Lake Bunyonyi

Enjoy a morning village walk to connect with local communities and traditions. Later, head to the calm shores of Lake Bunyonyi — often called the ‘Switzerland of Africa.’

Overnight: Arcadia Cottages (Upgrade: Birdnest Resort)

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi Leisure Day

Relax amidst nature or explore the lake by canoe, spotting birds and visiting traditional islands. A day to reflect, unwind, and enjoy your beautiful surroundings.

Day 13: Lake Mburo National Park

Drive east to Lake Mburo, Uganda’s smallest but most charming savannah park. Watch for zebras, impalas, and hippos during an evening boat ride.

Overnight: Rwakobo Safari Lodge (Upgrade: Mihingo Lodge)

Day 14: Walking Safari & Return to Kampala

Start the day with a guided walking safari — a rare and thrilling way to observe wildlife on foot. Return to Kampala via the Equator line for photos and local souvenirs.

Overnight: Orchidea Guesthouse (Upgrade: Le Petit Village)

Day 15: Farewell Uganda

After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Leave with your heart full and your spirit enriched by the landscapes, people, and wildlife of the Pearl of Africa. We hope to see you again!
